Why do people comment on someone they don't like with "muted"? Does that make them feel better? Acting like they won a non-existent argument cause there's no way they can be told off otherwise? Chances are if you comment someone saying you're muting them, they don't give two shits either way so why do this? Have any of you done this? Care to inform me as to why you would?

Edited by Oneironaut: 9/23/2013 2:32:32 AMMuted.
jk, I've never muted anyone and I'd never mute you. Anywhore, yeah it's really stupid isn't it? I'll use Camnator as an example; we all know Camnator has an infinite number of alts at his disposal and generally always post about the same kind of stuff, yet when people that have muted him (numerous times I should add) see a thread made by him, they click on it anyway as if they were expecting something different and then promptly tell him that he's been muted... If you knew it was Camnator, why the hell would you click on the thread in the first place? Just mute him and be done with it. What, you think telling him that he is muted is going to stop him? If anything it's as Achronos said; when you announce that you've muted a person the only thing you are doing is telling them it's time to switch to another alt.
