Choosing the city for a Videogame.

Hi everyone, I'm here because i don't get the exact place for make it true, but i think that this place will be cool for make it. The most of you speak english, ¿right? I hope that you live on North America, i need you all for the next big thing: I'm developing a videogame concept, for make it real (soon) someday, and i need your help for choosing the next city that will be host the home of the main character of the game. This char will be the United States representant on certain South American country. The game is about city exploration, social relationship and knock out bad guys when it's recessary. The game is in actual times, and you have the all the liberty of explore that certain city, and doin' stuff. Meet new people and do other interesting stuff (¿glandestine midnight races, maybe?). I can't give some many details but, trust me, i hope that will be a great videogame for all the gaming community. So, please, choose the city where the first part of the history of the game, happens. You can choose it from over here. I need you help because i like be faithful with elements of the history, that can make indentify you with the all the pop/places references and situations in game. And, in the end, can be a great game for all. After all, you know better United States than me (one of the reasons i asking for your help), because, for a Chilean like me, can't make the right decision for localization stuff. If i were North American, maybe don't need to ask help like this way. I hope that you can contribute with my quest of ''place hacking'' game. Who knows, maybe you can reach the ''excellence pyramid'' on the game. Thanks in advance. Edit: Stop suggesting places, all the city listed in the survey, was suggested by the Bungie.Net community itself. So, stop please of give names. Thank you.

 • I'd like to help you out with your survey a bit. On the second voting section, you've got Dallas, Dallas rather than Texas. Also, I'd advise replacing the choice completely with something else as you've already got Fort Worth, Texas as one of your choices. The reason for this is that Dallas and Fort Worth, while two different cities, are neighbors to each other. Practically right on top of each other. While they may have slight differences in terms of culture (very slight) and demographics, they are pretty much considered to be the same metropolitan area. You aren't going to get a ton of dynamic differences between them for what you want in terms of history, culture or population. I'd advise picking one or the other. If you want an alternative city from Texas for your second option, I'd go with San Antonio. It's famous for the Alamo during the Texas Revolution, the river boardwalks and it's Mexican-American culture. Frankly, I think it's much more in line for what you're looking for in terms of history, pop culture, and demographics than Fort Worth or Dallas. I know you'd rather not get suggestions from the community now, but I read your OP and I honestly don't think having both Dallas and Fort Worth in your survey is in your best interests.
