So recently there's been a bit of a breakthrough for modders, we can now inject tags from campaign.map in multiplayer maps. Now, the process is long and complicated, but we're making great progress.

Man I wish I had the stuff necessary to play these mods. Also wish it'd be on PC already. Then the modding community would explode. Halo 3s engine could be modded on the same level that the Source engine did. Look at Gmod. It's insane what people make. Imagine that with Halo.
