So recently there's been a bit of a breakthrough for modders, we can now inject tags from campaign.map in multiplayer maps. Now, the process is long and complicated, but we're making great progress.

Interesting, but it's surprising people are still working at modding the older games, as there really is no point - this small modding community will never even begin to imitate what the Halo 2 modding community was. All we can hope for is Halo 3 on PC with mod support and then I think things will take off immensely.
