I’m holding a baby in one hand and a petri dish holding a fetus in the other.
I’m going to drop one. You choose which to save.
If you really truly believe a fetus is the same thing as a baby, it should be impossible for you to decide. You should have to flip a coin, that’s how impossible the decision should be.
Shot in the dark, you saved the baby.
Because you’re aware there’s a difference.

Yeah you should save the baby, but that doesn't mean fetuses are significantly less valuable. I looked it up and apparently by the time it is considered a fetus it has all the main recognizable features of a human and has all major body organs.

I'm pretty sure a fetus is too large to put in a petri dish.

A foetus in a petri dish is not as developed as the baby which probably is already self-aware and 'alive' in all the sense that the foetus isn't. There is a difference and I would save the baby.
