This sounds like a bad joke (and I recall the Family Guy skit where Peter was "locked in the car", someone will likely post that vid) but something just seems.... wrong about this.

Does the BMW 328i only have electronic door locks and no physical/mechanical locking device?
This is tragic, and also.... (please forgive me) stupid, at the same time. The handprint on the rear window makes the image even more visceral.

Edited by Porsche 914: 11/10/2013 3:58:22 AMShe couldn't force the locks open? She also didnt try honking the horn to alert people?

Couldn't you just break the car window
-
-
Perhaps more people should keep a window punch in their glove-box.

I was locked in a car on a hot day before, for about 2 hours. One of the scariest moments of my life. I think I developed claustrophobia from that experience... Reading that story freaks me out a tiny bit. Poor girl.
-
My bmw has a shitty door locking system which is why I have tools inside to get me out
-
Holy shit that's sad. You'd think she'd try to break a window or something but she probably didn't think she would die so she just waited it out. I smell a law suit by the dads comment.
-
Seems really strange to me.
-
would she not break the windows or something?
-
Poor girl couldn't break open the window??? Omg that -blam!-ing sucks so much... Who the hell thought it'd be a good idea to turn off the horn from the inside???
-
This is funny?
-
Reminds me of how little kids used to get locked inside fridges and die because old ones had automatic latches that would lock upon closing. It's sad, really.
-
The 3-series has mechanical locks.

Wait you serious?
