AMD vs. Intel
I'm planning on buying parts for a gaming PC soon and I need to figure out if I want AMD or Intel. Which would you say is better?

If you have more money, buy Intel. If you're staying to a strict budget, buy AMD.

I personally think its worth the extra few units of whatever currency you use to get an intel over an amd. They generally run cooler, better power efficiency and 'behind the scenes' power.

For pure multi-core rendering - AMD For efficiency per core - Intel gaming is better with intel
