"Forget The iPhone, Let's Support This Thing" - is an article with a fresh taste on how mobile phones should less .... restrictive. Rather, the phone we've been using for years go to waste every year.
The idea is simple (if you watch the video), you can customize your phone to fit your needs to rearranging/purchasing different "blocks". You can upgrade to your favorite companies features and ideas and create the phone you want, rather than the one that's trying to appeal to you. Pretty awesome if you ask me.
Would you support this idea? Share your thoughts.

That isn't a bad idea.

Edited by Ockeghem: 9/12/2013 8:07:52 PMA custom built phone to suit my personal needs? GTFO with those rational ideas! +1 sir, though instead of a phone where once I got it I could rearrange it at will, I want to design the phone I want and have that be my permanent phone that then cannot be changed. I just think that would lead to an end product that would be more stable.

Edited by Cobravert: 9/12/2013 7:30:28 PMI think it's a very innovative and novel idea. The thing I would like to see is if he designed it so that the screen could detach as a 'block' as well, for easy screen replacement rather than phone replacement. (No sound at work, too many ears around, so don't know it that was mentioned) Detractions: It appears a bit bulky and I envision it to have a little heft in weight as well. Other than that, Great! Now just get me the new Cortana / Siri (Jen Taylor voice) on it and I'm ready to buy.

If I was thinner, yeah.
-
The look isn't entirely appealing, but I wouldn't care about the look too much for a phone like that.
-
That's pretty cool.
-
I just don't like the look of it.

hell yeah.
