I don't really care if its legalized or not. I don't smoke pot anymore.
Now, what I have come to realize is that the feeling of being high has come to replace the feeling of achievement in pot smokers. Not all, mind you, but most. So, while I would work hard for the feeling of reward of completing grad school, my idiot brother just sparks the bong up and feels he did something that day.

Except you are wrong and cannabis has improved countless lives. It has ENCOURAGED many people to go out and achieve what they want.

I used to be a lazy stoner like that. But after a while of that i felt like my life is nothing and I don't do anything with it. It is only short term happiness. But now I do things with my life but I still stay with pot. Its the best ^_^
I also hate talking about doing it now that it isn't my priority. Maybe that's just me.
I think the perception of the "lazy stoner" has become an unfortunate stereotype. I've known a lot of pot users.. trust me.. I've known a LOT of pot users. And I can say with absolutely certainty that the majority of them are people you would never suspect if you weren't "in the know". They go to work everyday. Hold high-paying jobs. Come home to their families each night.. just like everyone else. Only difference is instead of enjoying a nice scotch at the end of the day, they spark a fatty. Lazy and uninspired people are lazy and uninspired regardless of recreational activity.

I really like to enjoy a nice joint after a long day or a hard days if you get what I mean. Not in my opinion taking away a feeling of achievement
Not all, mind you. But most
Maybe pot stole your critical reading ability...

Actually, you only humiliated yourself with a blatantly incorrect and idiotic post.

Dang, i was just giving my opinion. I wasn't trying to be mean...
