Graphics - Imagine that on the Vita OLED screen.
So the beta is open to the public now (Free download in PS store). Its basically just the multiplayer opened up. One map, one game type(Warzone). Allows you to rank up and gain points early. Played a couple games so far and it looks pretty solid. Took a while to get used to the controls and understand how to hack etc. Its definitely fun and addicting though. I'm really digging Warzone and its mixed game objectives. Graphics look fantastic of course (triluminous displays ftw).
Had a few connection issues, but that's probably because I'm currently in the middle of no where. Does seem to suck a bit of battery as well, but that's to be expected. Other than that I'd definitely recommend it and can't wait for September 10th. So what are your guy's thoughts on Mercenary so far?

There is a certain case with a select few games where I am in overwhelming disagreement with the general consensus of game reviewers. KZ: M is one of those games. It's sitting at 78 metacritic which blows my mind, as this game is the reason the Vita exists. This game is: high budget, graphically beautiful, fun, twin-stick FPS, great controls, great online - everything you could ask for out of a mobile game. But then you skim the reviews and see the irony of reviewers complaining about a 5 hour campaign when the same people gave a 20-min iOS game a 9+ Of course, game reviews don't influence my buying habits (in fact, I say get rid of them - the biased opinions of nobody's do more harm than good - only franchises that actually benefit are the AAA games with $100m+ budgets), but it bothers me that many many people will pass this game just because it isn't 90+. tl;dr game is good, buy it or else hand-in your Vitabro membership card
