Bungie was a Macintosh developer at one point. Nintendo moved away from their 'core' audience with the Wii. Their attempts to lure them back with the Wii U would have been more successful with a steady stream of software. Software moves systems not raw power. Install base helps as well. This speaks why bungie will not develop for the Wii U.
