And the last two are...
The Elder Scrolls and Grand Theft Auto. Not surprising, really, given that these series have spawned two of the most popular and iconic games of the 8th generation.
So which is your favourite? I have to say TES; Skyrim is my favourite RPG of all time, even if I haven't played that many. It was so simultaneously broad and deep, just an absolute delight to explore and experience.
Uh, does Skyrim contribute, if we're talking 2001-10?
GTAIV had its good moments, but its more grounded nature (compared with both TES and San Andreas, which I never actually played) left it wanting quite a bit. Hopefully, GTAV will address that.
Beyond those two, though, Halo is undoubtedly my favourite series of the decade.
I don't know how to vote.
I can't believe Zelda lost out to Mass Effect.
