Just got into an argument with an acquaintance because I said that old people are freaks of nature. They were saying that what I said was insensitive, and how would I feel if someone said that to me when I was old. I don't think it would affect me in anyway, I already have the mindset that OAPs are FoNs. It's not like my point of view of something should change just because it's now me that's the subject of debate. It's probably best that you make choices about these hypothetical situations whist your not in them so your emotional involvement does not cloud your judgement. I made up my mind years ago that I'd rather not go on living when my body and mind are past their "best before date", hopefully this isn't before all my organs become useless to someone that could use them.

Think of it this way, they're people that are kept alive through technology... They're basically Cyborgs.
