And order is restored...
Less than an hour ago, at the 125th IOC Session in Buenos Aires, Argentina, wrestling was returned to its rightful place as an Olympic sport.
The sport of wrestling received 49 votes, with in second place Baseball/Softball with 24 votes, and Squash with 22 votes. 48 was the majority of votes needed for Wrestling to re-enter the program.
Discuss your reaction to this news, the magnificent sport of wrestling, and the lunacy of the IOC for ever considering dropping wrestling from the program.

Wrestling is sooo gay and ridiculously boring to watch. However it's historical significance to the Olympics makes it a good decision. Baseball is also extremely boring and takes way to long.

I never watch it. But being one of the original sports, it belongs in the Olympics.

I'm very glad to hear this. I love wrestling, since I wrestled for 10 years of my life. There are so many Olympic sports that no one gives a shit about, they can drop some of those.
