For example, if somebody is defending their gaming platform, then the other person will say, "Oh, that's not a good feature."
This really comes across as arrogant. It's as if they're saying, "I'm not interested in that feature therefore it doesn't count. The platform sucks"
And you're just like, "..."
I'm thinking to myself, "How on earth does that person's opinion invalidate a perfectly good feature!?"
For example, somebody will say something like, "I'm getting the Xbox One because it has a Kinect 2! ^_^"
And somebody else will say, "PS4 master race."
And he will be like, "How so?"
Then he will reply, "Because no stupid forced Kinect 2"
"But if they force it, it will make the peripheral have actual meaning and developers will make better games for it!"
Then they will say, "Oh but I don't want the Kinect 2! Therefore nobody else should like the Xbox One either! The Xbox One sucks!"
You're just like, "So, because you don't like the Kinect 2... The Xbox One sucks?"
Then they will say, "Yeah! F.uck what other people want! Only I matter."
Then the other person is like, ";__;"
Has anybody else ever experienced this phenomenon? It's like every time I say something good and constructive about either the Xbox One or PS4 somebody else will just come along and say, "That important point you made there doesn't count because I don't like it and I'm the only person in the world who matters."
It's just really strange... They will say the console sucks over one feature that they personally don't agree on like the Xbox One's ability to watch live TV. That's awesome! But they don't need to do that, so therefore the Xbox One sucks for putting in something that other people like! Why? Because f.uck those other people! The Xbox One should only have stuff I like goddamn it! F.uck their other audiences only I matter! I'm then thinking to myself... Oh really? Well aren't they just a spoilt pretentious brat?
Does anybody see this kind of thing happen all the time or is it just me?
Oh I just realised how long this is...
TL;DR: Does anybody else often see people dismiss important features on the Xbox One or PS4 as a, "Stupid gimmick" just to render the point useless and thus claim their console superior as if they're the only person on the planet that matters?

The TV function for X1 is pointless because you already need a cable box and suscription, and another peripheral in order to utilise this function. The Kinect 2 is pointless because it adds another £80 to the price tag despite the fact I, and alot of other people, won't be using it anyway. Hell, even the people at Roosterteeth said they'll probably just leave the kinect in the box if it's not necessary on one of their gaming podcasts
