Let me start this off by saying this game looks epic. I know I will enjoy the time I put into it. However, I am the type of gamer who enjoys progressing through content and watching the game become more complex as that progression occurs thus holding my interest. My concern with Destiny is the combat becoming boring. Everything I have seen about the classes indicates 1-2 unique class abilities. If I am using the same couple abilities and of course firing my weapon, how will the game keep me entranced? I realize there is different environments and things to do along the way, but how will the game play itself remain epic and fun?
Please enlighten me or share your concerns!

So, to make a game better, there should be more flashy customization and options? A game like Quake with 6 total weapons and no abilities must be boring because you're doing the same thing over and over again. I don't want to seem too frank, but the best gameplay is the simplest. If it plays fun then the customizations are only a bonus.

In my opinion, this is where the mmo and rpg elements kick in.

New guns, upgrading guns, upgrading or swapping supers, different enemies in different areas, raids, public events, strikes, etc Nothing to worry about in terms of gameplay getting stale, we're in good hands.

Perhaps there will be more abilities unlockable through leveling. We only get snippets of what's already been completed, after all. The game isn't done yet. Perhaps it will be a matter of completing challenges in ways you desire. We know nothing of what a strike or raid is right now aside from implications. Gear that we desire can be attained over time, and we can look forward to getting our hands on it. Multiplayer options abound to keep us occupied. Adventure may be a prime mover for many gamers. If adventure isn't your deal, maybe you need a different game. Halo wasn't about adventure. It was more about the struggle from point A to point B. It was tactics and skill. You'll still have that here, but where you CAN go is now going to have more importance than where you MUST go. I look forward to beautiful vistas at sunset on whichever planet that may be so.

Did you enjoy Halo all the way through?

Multiple abilities that you choose 2 from. They've only shown a few per class to keep as much a surprise as they can. Also different guns fire differently and different enemies fight differently so I imagine it'll be entertaining for a long time. AND on top of all that, there are 3 classes to choose from so you'll have a different experience with each one.
