China vs. USA: Who would win?

Let's pretend that for whatever reason, each country simultaneously declares war on each other the second you read this. Each country's eventual goal is to eliminate the other, or to absorb the other country into their own empire.

Without a means to transport an army, it's a fight on their turf. And I have a feeling we'd bomb the place to kingdom come before any boots hit the ground. At that point, our superior training means everything.
