are you making Metal Gear Solid more like Splinter Cell ?
Faster fluid movement , time-freezing/bullet time when you a soldier spots you so you can take them out , being able to take out guards while on a ladder , sprinting and REGENERATING HEALTH ! Don't get me wrong alright cause I do like some new changes , like being able to drive vehicles(I wonder if we can run guards over :D?) and ride horses and the new radar system where you have to tag guards before they appear on the radar-like-ipad device (the thing that glows blue in the ground zeroes trailer) . I really want to know why ? Metal Gear Solid has always been about timing and patience . Waiting for the guard to look away while you shoot a tranq round in his back and wait for him to drop so you can sneak around . Not sprinting up to someone , activating a time-freeze shoot them and move on . We have Splinter Cell for that . The thing that ticks me off most is REGENERATING HEALTH !!! WHY KOJIMA ? The current MGS3/4 health/ stamina/phsyce system works . Adding regen health would ruin it . It would be fine if it were a boss-battle only thing but it's not . Kojima states he wants the phantom pain to be more accessible . You don't need to make it fast and easy to be more accessible . Yes yes I know with every change Kojima has never screwed us , but I really don't see why the changes were made. Never the less , I still have faith in Kojima and that MGSV will be an AMAZING game and story whatever happens ... also whats with making characters more erotic
EDIT: Sorry guys posted in wrong category first time round

Kojima is a spineless scumbag with a 12-year-old penis for a brain. Here he is with his big, fancy MGS5 game, right alongside RYSE and Killzone: Shadow Fall as one of the upcoming next-gen games. Asshole has the world in his pocket and he's ready to make bank. And what does he do? He decides to doll one of his characters up in an outfit so disgusting and so low-brow, it makes Miley Cyrus twerking at the VMAs look like ballroom dancing. I don't give a damn about his fans or his franchise; mark my words: when the mainstream media gets a hold of this, the only thing people will think of when they hear "game console" is this female character's torn nylons and thong. I REALLY hope I end up eating my own words on that, but the way I see it, he's painting the entire industry like a bunch of pervy pre-teen losers.

Would rather have Splinter Cell gameplay than wait ten minutes lying down in grass with 100% camo for the guard to stop stepping on my testicles and tell his mates he was just imagining things.

I'm sorry, what did you say? Your ass distracted me.

WAAAHHHHH I HAVEN'T PLAYED THE GAME YET BUT LETS COMPLAIN ABOUT THINGS WE HAVEN'T EVEN SEEN IN ACTION FOR OURSELVES WAAHHHHHH That's all I got from the OP. And who the -blam!- cares if Quiet looks more sexualized? It's Metal Gear Solid, c'mon. And second, there are a lot worse around than that. I don't understand why people are freaking out with Quiet. I think people have forgotten MGS is a japanese franchise...

These all sound like changes for the better. Some of these features will obviously not be in the higher difficulties, while newer players can access the game and get into it. I have played all the MGS games, and it is one of my favorite game series. I think it is awesome that Kojima is making the game more accessable. Now when I go to school, I can talk to some of my friends about the games, because they will be playing it, too. I hate using the word casualization, because new players aren't casual players, they are just players who have never played before. Lets not crucify Kojima for doing something to expand the gaming community.

Games evolve, deal with it p.s. you don't deserve to call yourself Solid Snake with a thread like this
-
Waaaaah wah waaaaaaa. That is this thread in a nutshell.
-
So it should be the game that you want it to be and not what the creator wants it to be...alright.
-
You need to remember something. It was played on a lower difficulty during a press conference. Who's to say it wasn't just sped up for the sake of showing the game off, or because it's on an easy difficulty setting. Besides I don't think it'll just regenerate in the full alert phase on higher difficulties. As for the bullet time thing, remember that the game is open world. If enemies spotted you from really far away and boom full alert phase it would be annoying. Though I also don't doubt the amount of time for this bullet time thing will dimish in higher difficulties to outright not existing in extreme
-
Regenerating health isn't new. That has been in MGS3 and 4.
-
I don't see how those features would change MGS for the worse.
-
But dat ass...

Every great franchise will eventually sell out to the casual market. I don't approve of some of those changes though.

I agree.
