I have been planning my manga for a while now, I have the universe and characters greatly developed so far. Creating and writing it shouldn't be a problem for me because (not to blow my own trumpet) I am very imaginative and writing is one of my strong points. The only hurdle now is my drawing skills, which I will practice over the next few years.
But on the topic of western manga; how likely do you think it is for a western manga writer to be successful and would you ever read a western manga?
how likely do you think it is for a western manga writer to be successful and would you ever read a western manga?
There's no such thing as a successful western Manga. In order it to be a Manga it has to be produced and distributed in Japan first, and why would Manga publishers fly some kid from the west into Japan to make a manga when they can just get a profession Japanese comic writer to do it?
