so I read the article, the Negative effects that the article talks about are very subjective. Its part of what you experience when you get high. It also stated there was no evidence of these effects being long term. I smoked a lot in my younger years, as in i was high every day all day, i graduated highschool and i have zero long term effects from using the herb.

My grandfather has smoked since he was 14, and he is now 74. He doesn't have lung cancer though, never has. Does that mean smoking isn't bad? No, it still is horrible for you. And so is smoking weed. The chemical in it deteriorates the brain, makes your memory worse or deteriorates it, and when you are high, it's like being drunk. You lose motion control to an extent, you lose mechanical abilities, reaction time is not as quick. Saying weed has no negative affects, like half the idiots in this thread, are ignoring facts.

Why are you telling me about your grandfathers cigarette smoking? I thought we was discussing weed maaan. I never claimed there isn't any negatives to using cannabis, every thing has pros and cons. In moderation cannabis is good for you. I suggest you all need to go watch the movie "super high me" its a documentary of sorts about an avid pot smoker who is a comedian. He goes completely clean for a month and has numerous medical tests done on him while he is clean. Then after the month is up, he goes on a smoking binge of getting high from the moment he wakes up to the moment he goes to sleep. His results of the medical tests and such while he is high are very surprising.
