I haven't really ever wanted the Ouya, except thinking it was a neat concept to play Android/Indie games on a television. After all the Ouya has exclusive games I believe, and it is said it is pretty much a dev kit in the sense that you can tinker with it, and make games.
Unfortunately, for Ouya it seems the Xbox One also has a game developmental function for independent creation.
The PS4 was also heavy handed at Gamescon with Indie games being created exclusively, and non-exclusively for it. The only threat from the Playstation brand is PS Mobile, which has functionality for the Vita handheld, although it is a small mobile gaming library in comparison to Android and iOS.
Now, where the Ouya can win is specific Android games of course, so I am curious if the Ouya still has a strong market appeal. Does the Ouya have iOS games as well (I doubt it, but it would be neat)?
I don't wish for any company to fail as I think every console developer has something to bring with the table, I just hope the Ouya people have a 2.0 version in the works come 2014 or sooner as it is left in the dust as just an oversized mobile games machine with few exclusives.

The Ouya was a bit of a stillborn, if you catch my drift.
