Not really. The Wii U is backward-compatible to the original Wii, meaning that the hardware itself might not really updated and be good enough to run Destiny.

  • The PlayStation 3 can run PS1 games, and I'm pretty sure that it's upgraded hardware.

    Check out Splinter Cell for the Wii U. The Wii U version is faster, has better graphics, and is more stable than the PS3 or XBOX version. A Wii U version of Destiny is possible, and would probably look like an enhanced Xbox 360 version. There is no way a Wii U version would be in the same league as the XBOX ONE or PS4 the two are superior in every way.
