Italy no longer a country
Due to Lamborghini, as well as not working on the sabbath, Italians were unable to make enough profit to foot the international costs of being a country, and went bankrupt internationally, and are legally nonexistent any further. With teeming amounts of luck, the former Italians were offered to pick any other ethnicity to claim as their individual "own". For those who are indifferent to all other ethnicities, the Portuguese have offered to accept all fully blooded "Italians" as their own, with full citizenship and birthright advantages.
