You may be right, but your analogy of exclusives for next gen consoles is flawed. Nintendo pretty much is all about Nintendo's IP and exclusive games. Their 3rd party games are practically an afterthought. On PS4 and Xbox, the bestselling games at launch will be 3rd party multi-plats, a la Assassins Creed and COD: Ghosts, so correlating the lack of significant exclusives during launch to the systems not selling well like the Wii U is problematic.
Also, the next gen consoles actually launched with quality hardware rather than the Wii U.

Edited by BBWATT: 8/29/2013 11:18:48 PMTrue Nintendo's first party titles are its greatest strength, and its greatest weakness. Nintendo tries, but most third party games have a difficult time competing. Their current franchises dominate due to their long established fan base. They're all under performers. The 360 and PS3 were filled with quality components, these new consoles were built to profitable from day one. The 360 and PS3 made our gaming PCs at the time obsolete. This next generation of consoles clearly do not.

Ugh. God, not the PC master race bullshit again. Get off your flipping pedestal. Not everyone enjoys PC gaming. That's what its about. Not a dick measuring competition.
