Well I'm sitting on my throne with my can of fosters and a thought crosses my mind.

No it won't be. Ever read up on prohibition? Yea, it won't happen again

No. But I do reckon that there will be a day when it is looked down upon and taxed to a oblivion, similar to tobacco now.

Here's a little lesson for any historically challenged users: Here in America, we tried banning all alcoholic drinks back in the 1920s. However, with all of the speakeasies and smuggling, it turned out to be a complete failure. If it didn't work back then, it sure as hell won't work now.

Nope. Prohibition completely and utterly failed. By banning a recreational drug you create a dangerous and detrimental black market. Not to mention the damage it would do to the economy.
