It was basically a TV show using a beta version of Rome Total War (before the game released) and used historical battles as both an education for the viewers and a competition for 4 people.
2 people would talk to the guys at computers to get the army to do what they want, 2 guys barked the orders for the guys at the computers.
At the end win or lose 2 experts explain what happened IRL, they could lose when in history the battle was won, or they could win if the battle was lost.
It was a show I didn't miss it and was something my family watched together and enjoyed. Wasn't even aware of the game they used/
