Eric Alva, the very first Marine to be seriously injured in Iraq by losing his leg, was booed off the stage just because he was gay.

I'm not trying to be offensive here, (and no I don't care about his sexual preference because that's stupid) but why do people that get their limbs blown off and shot and all that get to be called heros all the time? What did he do while he still had that leg and all that?
