What's the longest you've ever played a game?
I'm talking no real breaks other than restroom breaks. What's the longest you've ever gone on any game in a single sit down? Most you've ever played in a day?
For me it was a memorable Christmas many years ago. I had gotten Medieval II Total War recently (not for Christmas though). I ate lunch at my grandparent's house in town, hung out there for a while, then went home around 3pm and fired up Medieval. I played and played, got hungry and found some biscuits sitting in a bag and ate them while I kept playing. Next thing I knew I looked up at the clock and it was almost midnight.
Share your stories. I'm guessing quite a few of you have gone longer than 8.5-9 hours.

I played Halo 4 for a straight 30 hours upon release.

16 hours. My friend Matt and I went so -blam!-ing ham on World Of Warcraft one night. That session made us literally nocturnal for a week.

12 hours of Halo 3. I could still hear those br shots in my dreams.

The original Halo. The ONLY reason I bought an Xbox. I played it all the way through when I got home. No other game has grabbed me like that since.

I played Skyrim for close to 20 hours after it came out.

I had a 78 hour marathon the day Lord of the Rings: War in the North came out with two of my friends. Mountain Dew and Red Bull are magical things. [spoiler]Gimli's got nothing on my dwarf.[/spoiler]

Earth & Beyond (heh.. that's been a minute :X...nobody remembers the game ><;) 54 hours one weekend mostly trade runs. and.. well, 63 hours rep grinding in WoW (maaaaaaany years ago)

I had a LAN-party in the Halo 2 era, we played for about 24 hours before going to bed and starting over.

I played Halo 2, World of Warcraft, Diablo 2 and Oblivion frequently in 12+ hour slots.

3 RepliesProbably my friend Mike and I playing Halo 3 at his place with a metric -blam!-ton of pizza, chips and Dr. Pepper when it first came out. I think the most memorable times we had were on Sandtrap CTF rushing the enemy "base" with a mongoose and hijacking their Elephant just to take it all the way to our side of the map, you had to defend it for a good 5-10 minutes just to make it back home and win the match while the other one drove it. That and Rocket Race in (you guessed it): Sandtrap. Miss those times.

When m cousins got the wii I tried it... I played dragon ball z budokai tenkaichi 3 for 14 hours straight. They cried when I wouldn't stop.

Only midnight? I got skyrim for Christmas, started playing (around 8 in the morning), and the next time I looked at a clock it was past 4 a.m. the next day :)
