My girlfriend is currently pregnant with our child, and I usually go to her medical appointments in relation to the baby. Everything checked out fine today, but the heart beat was more accelerated than is should be for a boy. Apparently it's going at 145 per minute, but for male babies it's supposed to be 140 or lower...at least that's what the doctor said. Interesting stuff, especially since that's been consistently high with our last three visits or so. Medical subjects I find interesting, so I actually am enjoying this experience so far.
