I can take different opinions. Respectable ones. TROLLS I choose not to feed.

Yet you post in his thread boosting it to the top and tell him you muted him. So now he might just make another alt with all these people muting him. Way to not "feed the troll".

The goal was for everyone who viewed the topic to follow suit, and mute him as well. If he chooses to make another alt, that alt will be muted as well. Muting is very simple and easy, so I do not have a problem muting all subsequent alts this person desires to make.

But instead others won't mute and all you did was help put his thread back up. You are supposed to mute silently and move on.

It's not a problem for his thread to go back up. It helps to spead awareness, and unifies the community as a result.
