Lol I was abbreviating my answer so I didn't write a whole chapter on the subject.
I was attempting to underline that in science, when a theory can be reproduced and verified by other parties it can be reliably counted as a truth.
On the other hand, (only [b]one[/b] example) the theory some religions have of 'prayer' and god/gods hearing and acting on it [u]can not be proven either way[/u].
This applies to the OP question as a supporting argument.
However, if you have a different opinion/theory/hypothesis I would be happy to hear it.
Note: I'm of the opinion that if you can't understand me, I haven't explained myself properly. I would appreciate if your non-comprehension manifests in the form of a question, not taking a tiny portion of my post and making a rash and general assumption. Assumptions are a sign of sloppy logic.
