Is gamefaqs a good forum for gaming discussion?
I'm thinking about registering on the site soon...it's also a very popular forum too.....and has a pretty decent layout, not better than B.Next though.

1 ReplyI'm not a fan of posting on there much, too many boards to keep up with. However, the forums are an [i]extremely[/i] good resource for just about any question you may have on any game. Better than the Answers section in many cases. Most of the time, when I Google an issue I'm having with a game, its the Gamefaqs forums that give me an answer.

1 ReplyI've been hooked on Gamefaqs like a drug for roughly a decade now, I kid you not. I've only had an account for about a year, I just love to lurk on tons of forums there. Highly recommend the site, just be forewarned that there are a lot of argumentative tools on there. (It's the internet, but I think it's even worse there than many other places.) Still, awesome site. I love it.

It's been useful when trying to find out information about ingame stuff...except puzzles in games where people get all pissed off if you help the guy stuck in some game puzzle...
