When i was younger i used to play a RPG game called Phantasy Star (Master System - Sega). One thing i remember well is that when we encountered some types of "enemies", we were able to talk to them instead to fight them. You could fight them but sometimes a conversation was a better option - since those enemies were not truly enemies - they were more on the neutral side, really, and sometimes they were stronger than you. I wonder if we will have that kind of option on Destiny. Would you like to have this option, for a certain type of 'enemy', from time to time? This could be implemented based on the approach to them - if you shoot, they shoot back; if you merely get near them, they are open to a talk, and maybe this talk could lead to a quest, a hidden place, a new weapon or armor, a knowledge of some weakness of a common enemy, etc. So what do you think?
-
No talking, just shooting. But I do think there will be some friendly enemy NPCs.
-
I would not be surprised to find neutral NPCs in the Destiny World How would they fit into/their role will be in Destiny is another thing
-
The enemy of my enemy is me :D coz their my enemy and im their enemy!
-
What day is it today anyway
-
I like the idea, but I don't think it'd fit in well with destiny. I think the enemies will be more - in your face - than being able to talk to them. It's like master chief sitting down to a cup of tea with the arbiter..
-
I like this idea of choice and they could really make good use of that rpg world element.
-
"Out in the Wild... This is how we talk.
-
If it's an enemy, I kill it. Also, the whole "enemy of my enemy is my friend" saying is rubbish. The enemy of your enemy is somebody who most likely hates you both.

Phantasy Star Online 2 is better.
