In this screenshot (From the Destiny E3 Gameplay Trailer) you can see a few characteristics that would apply to Mercury. First, we can see that the planet is extremely bright, and also that the Sun is so close that it covers the entire visible horizon. Mercury is the closest planet to the Sun (See solar map through link below), with the second closest planet being Venus. Now, as we all know by now, Venus is a dark, lush jungle planet in Destiny, which rules out the possibility of it being the planet pictured above. All the other planets in the solar system (except Mercury) are too far away from the Sun for it to look that close from the planet's surface. That proves that the planet pictured is Mercury, and that we'll be able to play there in Destiny.
That all said, what do you think of this? What enemies do you think will be there, and why?

I think that most enemies will be on most planets, but lots of a certain type of enemy on specific planets. I expect that the Hive or Vex will be on Mercury unless it's the mysterious 5th race yet to be unveiled. This is a really cool discovery! You can even see the guardian's ship coming in lower over the city on Mercury, which shows we can play there.
