I'll jump on the bandwagon.
If you detect a way in which this forum could be a better place, take action. Hide a topic. Mute a user. The controls are in your hands.
When you complain about Ninja inaction, our heads explode. It's like watching a train roar toward a raven with a collapsed bridge. The conductor's hand is on the brakes, and he's screaming for someone to stop this thing!
We have put you in control of your own destiny. We have lead you to water. Drink!
You need to let go of the time when the Ninjas were judge, jury, executioners. Please act on your own impulses, and moderate this forum to your own liking.

You're going to have to draw a line in the sand eventually. When the game launches you're going to have a multitude of people screaming for the old way of moderating due to the lack of information on how BNext now works. A possible reward system could work. Get so many likes and you receive a title or something game related that has to be maintained. Too many "valid" complaints or justified mutes strips you of avatars or board perks or imposes a limit on posting like once a day. Visuals will never sway the hardcore troll but it would certainly have effect on members seeing how many mutes a OP is receiving on a topic due to the subject matter. All terrible, but it's an interesting problem that has an answer but seems to not work nonetheless no matter how much you say it should. For those trying to curtail the trolls and impose your brand of board politics have none of you simply considers just making a private group forum based on general topics? A make shift forum since I've been told we're more like a mall or high school lol and that a official general forum (hashtag) defended by Moderators is stupid. A mall of telepathy more like it. You're never going to win against the troll in any case unless you want Waypoint and even then it's the reverse where it's filled with sycophants. The mute option is awesome but the will to make you uncomfortable is stronger. The possible option I see is form your own Private group with posting restrictions to members only and put the word out for it. You probably be surprised how many would like to escape the Offtopic section.
