Right, here's the thing: people don't know what's worth making threads. That's the issue. I mean lookit the Destiny forum. Right? Like it's all people goin' "What're you gonna do when you get on Destiny?" Like, what? That's not a discussion thing. Clearly the answer is "press start". There's no discussion there. Even if you were to extend that to the playing part it's like, what? That's not a topic for discussion. That's a thing you say to a person one time and they answer and you're like oh yeah that's cool and then the discussion's over and you move on to talkin' 'bout the weather and whatnot.
Like there needs to be a guideline or something. Like you need to have at least 22 talkability points to be able to make a thread about something.
That's not even to mention the Flood. The amount of religious and political obvious flame-bait threads that are basically summed up by "Oy me views be differnt 'en yerz. Cum @ me m8. il -blam!- ur mum."
This is really bad. I mean some people are like generally and genuinely bad people that deserve a proper muting but it's like lots of them aren't so this whole self moderation thing doesn't solve the problem.
Like what the hell people threads are easy as shit. I make 'em all the time and it's like they have discussion value and shit. Just -blam!-in make a thread about a thing what people can talk about. Why's that hard?

By the way, Bungie has already responded about the religious threads. If you don't like 'em, mute 'em.
