T4R. For me, it would be a Deus-Ex: Human Revolution - esque game, but set in an open-world - Basically a cyberpunk open-world RPG.
You could travel across the world to realistic bustling urban cities with all the detail that Deus-Ex had in it's relatively limited city hubs. Level design in Deus-Ex was brilliantly non-linear - they never shoe-horned you into any specific situation; there were always multiple paths to traverse through any given space and a choice of sneaking past or going Rambo on hostiles. That kind of detail would be almost impossible to replicate on an open-world scale, but if it ever does, I would pay through the nose for it.
Also I want a high-speed motorcycle chase through New York where you can jump on pursuer's bikes with an elaborate hijacking animation that ends in you kicking them into the Hudson.

An open world RPG game set in the world of Metro, a lot of customization, in depth crafting system. It would have a mix of sci fi and medieval/fantasy throughout it. Weapons that include anything from guns to swords to lasers etc. Enemy and friendly AI can be found throughout the world that. The AI will fight each other even with you not around. Scavenge for supplies and upgrading materials. Able to customize armor with things found in the world ex: you find a skull of an animal and you can place it on your shoulder or elbow or hand for aesthetic purposes, but certain things can give you protection or special abilities. Multiple kinds of vehicles can be found throughout the world. Can be anything from motorcycles to tanks to small aircraft. Many animals and mutated creatures live in the world, things from small lizards to dragons. Can be switched between first person and third person.

Open World MMO. 3rd person over the shoulder shooter style fighting game on a post apocolyptic earth where humanity's cities have nearly been completely overtaken by nature. Throw in superpowers, multiple tribes and warring factions, flying ships, extensive crafting and customization options and I will be a very happy person

Edited by Noshotskill: 8/6/2013 11:10:19 PMHD Zelda campaign with Halo 2's multiplayer. And your Spartan pulls out the master sword when going for an Assassination (yeah, I'm adding Reach's Assassination's to Halo 2's amazing multiplayer). O, and when you kill enemies they spill out Gears of War blood and gore. I wanna see Link hack and slash some Dodongos!

Edited by MR E0S: 8/10/2013 8:49:21 PMStar Control 2 MMO. **With multiple Galaxies to put EvE to shame, with heavy emphasis on an actual story instead of a bland, boring, sandbox **Built to play like Crimson Skies. **Heavy on the PVP Arenas. Regulated PVP. (Think Guild Wars PVE vs PVP seperation) **Reset Players and Randomize Galaxies every 6 months (Diablo 2 ladder Resets) **Unique 1 of a kind items to find during the 6 month periods. (A Race to explore the galaxy and find precursor technologies) **Finite Resources throughout the galaxy. Once a system has been mined or explored for all it's worth...it's done for. (Hence the reset every 6 months and the HUGE Galaxies) Just Imagine Guild Wars with a Spacelift. (Facelift) Assume a Million players, with 6 months to Exploit resources, technologies, and exploration. So..... We're talking, Millions of Stars will be needed. Make it take on average 2 weeks for 1 person to fully explore or exploit just 1 star system.

Edited by SpeechlessMoon: 8/3/2013 6:56:11 AMA hack and slash that isn't punishing, but doesn't hold your hand, and isn't afraid to let you die sometimes so you can learn what to do. I want to bring back elements from some great classic boss fights. It would also be awesome if it had some platforming elements and a parkour mode, as well as great dialogue choices, that aren't so black and white. I would want it to be set in a futuristic world, where three other alien races have been discovered, ad we have colonized other planets. Not to the scale of Mass Effect but the same general thing. It would be about a scientist who has unlocked the full potential of the brain and human body, and through this achieving immortality, but keeps it to himself to maintain the natural order of things. Obviously the military isn't to happy about it so they attack him, trying to capture him. In the attack his wife and kids are killed, but he and his brother escape and swear vengeance on them for ruining their life. His right arm is severely wounded and his brother is bound to a wheelchair. He trains for 20 years in a small village in Japan, to learn the way of the samurai. Over these twenty years he continues his research, and augments his right arm. He then leads assassinations on every commanding officer that was responsible. The commanders have been doing some research of their own and are augmented, and armed to the teeth due to a tip the received from a mystery man. This takes up about 1/4 of the game. The last cutscene of this chapter shows the scientist getting re-wed and his brother is his best man. Jump 100 years later. The scientist and his brother are attending his youngest kids funeral. The scientist has witnessed the death of his family twice, and is extremely traumatized. He goes into a deep depression and turns to drugs and alcohol to cope. His brother continues his research without him for the good of mankind. The scientist goes into a mad rage. He thirsts for blood, and hires himself out to anyone with enough money to afford him. You play two missions of mercenary before you are approached by his masters great grandson. He is told that he finally has the chance to do something good with what he has created. He is told that the Grand Minister of the World is under the threat of Reptima assassination. You spend one mission getting to the Grand Minister. You kill all the Reptima assassins. Before you enter the panic room you are approached by a shady figure. His face is hidden. "I am Satan, and I have an offer for you", The man says. "If you kill the Grand Minister, I will give you your life back." "But why?", the scientist says. "With the largest world leader dead, the world will be plunged into chaos and I will rule." "I will do it." The scientist kills the Grand Minister. The next mission you make your way back through the Headquarters of the World, killing Japanese cyborg ninjas, and in the end you kill your masters great grandson. You pass out and wake up back with your family, but nothings the same. You crave more blood, more anarchy. The cravings overtake you, and you swing at your wife, and she fades away. It was all an illusion. You wake up in an insane asylum, 100 years after the assassination of the of the Grand Minister. You are missing your right arm. They removed the augmentation. Your brother is by your side, as faithful as ever. He tells you that he can rehabilitate you, and that if he is willing to help you if you get treatment. You lash out and kill him, you cannot stop your bloodthirst. You escape from the asylum and steal his research. Over the years you have amassed a large amount of wealth, and you use it to hire the best engineers in the world to build the new augment in his brothers research. you could tell it was for yourself. If you have made it this far, you have made it through 3/4 of the game. The game jumps 5,000,000 years ahead. Yes 5,000,000 years. The sun is going to explode in five days. You are the last human on earth. Your stronghold is impenetrable, but you have to find a way off the planet to survive. You sit there helpless, wandering what you will do, and you are approached by the shady man, Satan, again. His face is hidden in darkness. "I did what you said, where did I go wrong! My life has been constant turmoil!" As you say this, another man approaches you. It is your brother. "You made all the wrong choices my brother, that is why" You are shot back into a flashback. You see your father. He is not at peace. "My life is over!", he yelled. He jumps into the water. "Chase after him!" The shady man yells. No matter how fast you swim you cannot catch him. "You failed again, You need Me!", he yells. Shadowy demons erupt from the water, you cannot defeat them. You hear a voice, "I will help you brother." Your brother casts away the demons. You drop to your hands and knees, "What do we do now?", you whimper. "Brother, in these times we must turn to god." The shady man is in your ear, "You cannot trust him, he will only betray" You curse Gods name, then jump to another flashback. It is the week after your mothers death. "I just miss her so much John, how will I live without her!" "My brother, we all shall pass, it is only gods plans for us that matter.", "NO! I'm going to fix this!". The shady man is right there with you, "He is just holding you back, you can make yourself perfect". You jump back to the present. There are two endings Good Ending: "It was you! You were there for all the worst moments in my life, You ruined my life!" "No Psy" The shadyman steps forward. It is yourself. You are the shady man. "Your ruined your life." "No" You scream "I couldn't have, I reject this! John can you ever forgive" "Yes my son, we will all be forgiven in the end." "No, I have to come to far for you to mess this up again!" Screams the shady man. A boss fight pursues between you and the shady man after you defeat him you get the final cutscene. "What do we do now John" "Now my son, you are forgiven" You and God ascend to heaven. The end Bad ending: "So it is you I have to thank for my success" "No Psy, thank yourself" The shady man steps out, and it is you. "I embody the human nature Psy, I am sin, I am inside everybody." " so what do we do now" "Now we leave, come with me to hell." "I cannot let you do that my son" Boss fight pursues with John. After you win, final cutscene occurs. You descend to hell with the devil. then you wake up from your coma, it is 2025, you are in Healing wings mental institution. Everyone has forgotten about you. You will die here. You are alone for eternity. the end If you read all this, thank you so much. You probably think I'm sick, but this is just one of few ideas that I have, and this is the only one that is so horrible. I haven't posted my ideas for a game on the internet yet, so please give me feedback, both positive or negative, don't pull any punches. Thanks Again! Edit: Also sorry for any bad grammar its like 3Am where I'm at.

Destiny. I love open world games but I have always wanted to play them with friends, I also love science fiction and space, making destiny even more attractive, then there is going to be an amazing soundtrack. Destiny is probably going to be my favorite game when it comes out.

You're a good dude, Euler. Great to see someone else appreciating Deus Ex HR. You pumped for Cyberpunk 2077? That might be one of your nearer bets coming up for the game you described. For me, the ideal game looks like a cross between Witcher 2, Skyrim, and Dragon Age. I loved the Witcher 2's storyline and it's writing and voice acting felt beyond almost every other game I've ever played. The texture of the world itself was just terrific, too, it felt like a real place people lived and the characters were fantastic. Take the open world of Skyrim, now, with the exploration, the detail, the length, and the size. Add the level of intimacy you can gain with your crew in Dragon Age and that sort of company system. If I'm really dreaming, I'd throw in a Total War element of management, open battles, conquest and so on. I suppose what I'm looking for is a high fantasy world where you're in charge of your own mercenary company, making decisions about where to go and what to do, having your own personal adventures, etc. But it all would have that central plotline with compelling characters and writing.
