Who's the better Snake?
Who do you believe is better. Take into account their story, struggles, and fights. Although I'm not accepting Solid Snake beat Big Boss in the games.

Solid Snake would definitely win in a fight. But Boss is so much cooler.

Solid. Both Big Boss and Solid Snake experienced extremely similar lives (forced to kill their mentor, betrayed by their country, soldiers who felt they had no place to be) but the difference is while Big Boss allowed his hardships to corrupt and eventually consume him, Solid Snake used them to learn from and strive to never make those mistakes again. Despite SS's assertion that he's not a hero, he's actually the only person in the whole MGS saga to maintain his morality the whole way through and do the right thing when he had every reason to follow the dark path of his father.

6 RepliesSolid Snake for me. I mean at the end of MGS4 he crawls through a microwave chamber and I was mashing the shit out of triangle. Big Boss is awesome too, but for me Solid Snake edges out Big Boss slightly in skill. However as a character Big Boss is better, especially that one last line "This is good... isn't it?" I think I had some serious man tears at that point

1 Replybig boss since he feels more human. and hes story of how he hated hes son(sort of) was pretty interesting and tht end seen in mgs4 SPOILER ALERT!!!!!(the real ending) where big boss and snake just forgive each other. Just amazing! and big boss's death is just so emotoinal(too me anyway) but solid snake and big boss are the true soldiers. They both are the best.
