Right, here's the thing: people don't know what's worth making threads. That's the issue. I mean lookit the Destiny forum. Right? Like it's all people goin' "What're you gonna do when you get on Destiny?" Like, what? That's not a discussion thing. Clearly the answer is "press start". There's no discussion there. Even if you were to extend that to the playing part it's like, what? That's not a topic for discussion. That's a thing you say to a person one time and they answer and you're like oh yeah that's cool and then the discussion's over and you move on to talkin' 'bout the weather and whatnot.
Like there needs to be a guideline or something. Like you need to have at least 22 talkability points to be able to make a thread about something.
That's not even to mention the Flood. The amount of religious and political obvious flame-bait threads that are basically summed up by "Oy me views be differnt 'en yerz. Cum @ me m8. il -blam!- ur mum."
This is really bad. I mean some people are like generally and genuinely bad people that deserve a proper muting but it's like lots of them aren't so this whole self moderation thing doesn't solve the problem.
Like what the hell people threads are easy as shit. I make 'em all the time and it's like they have discussion value and shit. Just -blam!-in make a thread about a thing what people can talk about. Why's that hard?

Oh Crazzy, never change.
Right, here's the thing: people don't know what's worth making threads.
Clearly.

Pack it up. We've between the 10 group limit and this thread, we have officially run out of things to complain about.
-
Don't tell me what to do.
-
Sooo the better question and do forgive me if this was mentioned already, does this very thread meet its own qualifications for being a thread?
-
By the way, Bungie has already responded about the religious threads. If you don't like 'em, mute 'em.
Like it's all people goin' "What're you gonna do when you get on Destiny?" Like, what? That's not a discussion thing. Clearly the answer is "press start".
Not if there isn't a start menu :P

haha u r $000 m4d Objective analysis of "threads" and many other details about our personalities is very difficult, and as your thread and the valid criticisms of it show, clearly, there is always something about ourselves that we would be wise to improve before whining in public. But I agree, sort of. I say blam it. Let people be excited and feel important posting threads. We're all in this for Destiny, and the good stuff floats to the top anyway due to Bungie's masterful designs.
-
You say "like" a lot :P Though I have to agree...people have been creating the most ridiculous topics on the majority of the forums and ignoring a good discussion....B.net saddens me now :,(

Like.... what?

Edited by Ghost 0f Dawn2: 7/28/2013 10:09:12 AMLike this thread is so right. Like, what? I mean people are like unable to make some thread, like a good one. Like it should have talkability, like, what? Like for real, it should be like a requirement. Like why can't people do it? People should be required to use real grammar to make a thread. Not 13 year old girl talk. like, what?
Like there needs to be a guideline or something. Like you need to have at least 22 talkability points to be able to make a thread about something.
Idealism makes for nice dreams, but is ultimately impossible.
