From these videos, which gaming engine do you think is better? Take into account that a lot of Metal Gear Solid 5 hasn't been revealed, unlike BF4.
Each engine is better than the other in their own regards, but which engine is better overall of the two?
Accidentally put Frostbite 2 for some reason on the poll, whoops. It's the 3rd.
Discuss.

BF4 = Awful game MGS5 = Awful game Thread = no merit
-
Why are people saying Snowdrop is the best?

Edited by Reign of Bane: 5/24/2014 10:45:59 AMSits there laughing... It has to be Frostbite 3 engine, glitchy as -blam!-. Rainbow coloured levels (psychedelic), invisible gun when spawned, invisible enemies and invisible when jumping on Atvs and Bikes and going to 3rd person perspective. Invisible wall when throwing grenades while in prone behind, ammo & medical boxes. Well done EA for pushing Dice into releasing an unfinished game to increase your profit margins. You owe me money bitches, wasn't aware that I was paying £80 (including season pass) for a beta. Feels like I have been mugged!

The Frostbite 3 engine is breathtakingly amazing. It's a shame that the rest of the game (BF4) can't keep up with itself due to its netcode and visual glitches.
-
Crytek Engine. People need to stop with the Snowdrop engine. They've only seen 3 mins of a scripted tech demo with it and have no idea how it plays on consoles/low-mid tier PCs.
-
If they kept on the better destruction path for frostbite I would choose them, But snowdrops might be better.
-
First time I saw the FOX Engine I actually thought I was looking at a real photograph. It freaked me out.
-
Frostbite does destruction/some other dynamic stuff that only has to happen once a match that's pretty much it other than -blam!-ing sunglare. Fox Engine >Entirely Open World >Dynamic night and day >Dynamic weather >Incredible detail throughout everything >Has to deal with game mechanics while doing all of this other stuff. Such as stealth, shooting, advanced AI >Smart enemies, where as Battlefield only deals with players Also look at this -blam!-ing video

MGS V because FOX because Kojima

Snowdrop wins over both of these.
-

-
FOX, until DICE fixes their server tickrate.

FOX Engine
-
I actually really like the look of Snowdrop!
-
Potato powered game engine.
-
fox engine can do complete photo-realism so good that they actually decided to nerf it a bit before using it.
-
The poll option says Frostbite 2, and BF4 actually uses Frostbite 3. I r cunfsed
-
Unreal Engine 4
-
"Your aunts pet iguana" .. Didn't I use that one before? .-.

I'm inclined to go with MGS5. I'll be staring down the sites of a generic gun in Spunkgargleweewee so whatever flashy explosions happen I probably won't notice.
