I have a pretty good goddamn idea and it's possible to have a discussion on morality. It's possible to change minds, and it would be in my and their best interest TO change their minds, if I am so eager to help them out. Until they give me good enough reasons to continue smoking weed, I'll continue berating them and everyone else.

I'm not going to debate morality with you, it's pointless in the end because you can argue both sides ad infintum. There are many benefits to marijuana. Pain relief, increased appetite, helps with insomnia, supposedly fights cancer, plus a few others and it gets you high. I'm more than aware that you see getting high as a con, but again that's an opinion, not an objective fact. Also taking any form of smoke into your lungs is going to do damage, but there are other ways to ingest the plant that aren't harmful in of themselves. As for evidence that suggests ingestion of the marijuana plant itself is harmful, I find it to be lacking any scientific basis. Show me peer-reviewed studies that state otherwise and I may change my mind.
