I'm doing an extra credit my statistics professor assigned our class... and it has to do with the Trayvon vs. Zimmerman case. I need to make a sort of poll, but I didn't want to make this a simple Yes/ No poll thread since there's more than just one thing I need.
So can I get a count on how many supported the decision and how many of you have either more conservative ideals or more liberal ones? You don't have to be a flaming liberal or conservative, but which do you side with MORE.
I'm personally independent, but when it comes down to it, I'm a bit more liberal than conservative, yet I support the jury's decision. I need at least 30 people for this thread, so help me out here?
TL;DR- Do you support the Trayvon Martin vs. George Zimmerman decision and are you, in general, more liberal or conservative?
PS- Try to not make a flame debate about this. I want this to stay an innocent poll.

I'm pretty liberal and think the jury did its job well. For the details: It isn't illegal to follow someone, and it isn't illegal to call them a thief. It IS illegal to attack someone, and Zimmerman was within his rights to protect himself. I am NOT saying the situation was morally right. Zimmerman acted like a vigilante, and didn't follow some very sound advice. He should have made note of who Treyvon was and where he went, but avoided confrontation at all costs, leaving that for the police.
