I'm actually very intrigued by it. So much that I research it, study it and want to pursue it into a career. I'm attending college and have taken several classes on growing and business. I want to help others with problems they have medically or if they just need something to take the edge off. Plus i would love to use hemp for recreational use. It's not just something to get high off of in my opinion. It's a life style to me. Legalize It, Regulate It, Tax It. What is it to you?
-
Never tried it. Never want to try it. Never really considered trying it because I don't care for getting high. Nevertheless it is a better, safer and more cost-effective pain killer and appetite enhancer over most prescription drugs out there so it should be legalized and allowed for use by everybody since it is a waste of money to go to war with its producers and its illegal state harms and jails countless minorities in this country and basically turns our country into a massive CLUSTER-blam!-. So in short legalize pot!! #wahooo

I think I'll post in this thread daily just to say that Camnator is a retard.

Camnator is a retard.

If it's for medical purposes, then cool. Recreational? Whatever, just as long as you don't smoke it in my face, I don't care. It should be legalized to stimulate the economy. It should be regulated though.
-
serious reply: I'm not into it myself, but my dad is. it's helped him with his anxiety issues, and I can't really say I have a problem with it. Maybe the smoke is a bit unhealthy, but that's why they invented brownies.
-
I have yet to see recreation use actually help someone in the end... Unless the "end" part involves quitting or never doing it again. Really though, I'm only against using it as a drug, because I think it's pointless.

Edited by TheSilverElite: 9/8/2013 5:58:35 PMIt's terrible! It makes people hallucinate, fell woozy/drunk, and get addicted. Enough said.

Studies have shown that marijuana can cause schizophrenia. You are at risk if you have certain gene combinations, which we don't yet have tests for. (Roughly 1% of the world's population will develop schizophrenia in their lifetime, and you are at higher risk if you smoke marijuana.) http://www.cbc.ca/documentaries/natureofthings/2010/downsideofhigh/facts.html On the other hand, there are studies that show marijuana can reduce the size of brain tumors, while at the same time enhancing positive brain cell growth (which seems like a strange contradiction to me o_O). A cursory search will reveal endless links on these subjects. There are many things about our biology, and brains, that we just don't know yet. While, it's not yet clear what the long term effects are, short term studies have shown both positive and negative results. If you're willing to subject yourself to something that, in all likelihood, will alter your brain function, that's entirely up to you.

Medical use good Recreational use bad.
-
I don't really care, but it'd be naive to say that it positively affects everyone - it depends on how you use it and why. I've seen some people stuff their life up because of it, and others who seem to be doing just fine.
-
I think it makes me feel good. But I don't think it is wisely used in any form by anyone who is still maturing. AKA: Anyone who isn't a full fledged adult. Simply because altering perception with any sort of catalyst in someone who's mind is still developing has a pretty good chance of directly affecting that development according to the effect of the catalyst as well as the the effect of stopping taking said catalyst. Nor is it wisely used chronically, unless you have some condition to which it is meant to be used for.

Edited by Gatsby: 8/23/2013 3:34:38 PMI don't smoke it myself but people I dislike it when people go on about it all the time as if it was something marvelous, it also bothers when some smoke it so much they even stink of it. I've tried it a couple times, didn't really get much out of it so I don't really see a point in smoking it anymore.

Edited by brandorobot: 7/26/2013 11:46:14 AMWell most of the common strains are light green in color with red/orange hairs, but that can vary. Those are my views when I look at marijuana.
-
I have yet to see anything bad about it. But I would keep it as medicinal. Pretty much all of my friends who have gotten into marijuana have become lazy assholes who only ever want to smoke.

Edited by Jordan: 9/6/2013 7:06:42 AMHere is a fun fact for you and its in the link i provided the other day. Smoking weed has been proven to improve lung function in those who have athsma...isnt that wierd. And it works better and lasts longer that athsma medication

Edited by Guardian7477: 7/27/2013 1:00:26 AMIt smells like shit and tastes like shit. I want nothing to do with it.

Legalize and regulate like alcohol and tobacco. After all it isnt even remotely as bad as those two.
-
It usually doesn't cause any harm. But it does make people careless. Have you ever seen somebody who smokes everyday go 2 weeks without smoking? They become ass holes. I use to smoke, but then I grew out of it.
-
If you legalize it, it's a slippery slope. How long until crystal meth a heroin become legal?
-
It's a plant. That's what I know.
