I'm a huge PC gamer with a few thousand hours on XBox and PS3 too. After reading the article I posted here from Kotaku I had a hard time understanding a few things. What are the difficulties involved with getting a game to the PC platform? I raise this question because normally the shoe is on the other foot. Game developers struggle to get their game on consoles and can often waste time and money. Destiny is programmed on a computer. A PC platform seems like the native environment.
Is it a technical issue?
I really don't think so... *("Destiny is programmed on a computer. A PC platform seems like the native environment.")*
Is the friction caused is a Business/Legal issue?
Could be, but I find that unlikely... With Bungie's recent games in the past, console exclusive games where expected because Microsoft needed Halo to help support their console. Does Microsoft still hold keys to doors Bungie can't open in the PC world?
I need peace of mind. I need to relate to the devs. Give me hope, or shoot me down, but what I/(we) want to know is. What is the resistance Bungie faces in making this game a successful PC title?

Releasing a game on 4 platforms at once is pretty daunting, a 5th would just be crazy. Not only that but games designed for consoles always get a lot of hate from PC players for being "oversimplified" and not designed for the PC master race. You're also looking at even more servers for PC players which is more initial expenses. I read somewhere about them not wanting to make mouse & keyboard an option for Destiny like some other shooters, which makes a PC release less likely in my mind.
