In the Elder Scrolls series? We interact with daedra in the games, but what about the nine/eight divines? The only one I can think of that we actually see do anything is Akatosh, at the end of the main quest in Oblivion, and even then that could conceivably be attributed to a particularly powerful blessing on the Amulet of Kings (which was obviously a very powerful magical artifact regardless). So is there something in the games that I haven't played through or that I'm forgetting about?

There's always the simplest explanation: that the so-called Divines aren't actually gods, but are merely a more advanced lifeform from another plane of oblivion who have occasionally interacted with the inhabitants of Nirn. Being so much more advanced than the Humans, Elves, and other mortals, they would understandably be perceived as deities.
