Though Bungie has stated that Tigerman has not been incorporated as a playable race, it leads to speculation on why he was going to be included in the first place.
Where did he come from?
What was his purpose?

Tigerman started off as an ordinary person, named Phil. Phil was average, had a family and worked a typical 8 hour a day job. Now Phil had a secret, he loved tigers. He based his whole life around tigers. So much he made a tiger costume. When the Traveler came to its final resting spot, and space magic was discovered, Phil realized this was his chance. He donned his costume and became a guardian. However the space magic had a dire effect on his costume. It fused with him and he became a separate entity other than human.

Yet what ever became of Tigerman? Did Bungie remove him because he became too powerful? DId he know too much?
