Nope. This is just him talking about what would happen should there be a sequel. Right now they're still looking at how well the movie does at the worldwide box office to see... I mean, it's doing pretty good sitting at about 180 million but...

So I can see the Newt character ripping the portal back open being under the influence of the hive mind. There going to want revenge bad. Also the thought of Mechanized Kaiju coming through or the reverse where Jaegers are constructed on the bones of fallen Kaiju being a interesting plot point. Looks like Kiryu syndrome going amok.

Good, good. Apparently, despite savage criticism and nobody I know wanting to see it, Grown-Ups 2 still outperformed it at the box office. =/

I'd be more enthusiastic for a prequel, but this is STILL PRETTY AWESOME. They'd better give it a MGR soundtrack this time around.
