Race and sex?
I kept thinking of general RPGs, but then it occurred to me that bungie can do whatever they want. Its only aesthetics after all.
As for me i'm on the fence. But I'm very indecisive so i wouldn't mind being able to change at will. However it would kinda spoil the game for me a bit.
So I have no opinion, i won't vote.

i just wanted to be human no harm done
-
Maybe if we could put in a one-time change I think that would be better than being able to change it whenever you want as many times as you want
-
I think the game needs this... it doesn't have to be and shouldn't be something we can do freely. Maybe make it cost a little something, whether that be in game currency or RL. We should only be able to change once, or maybe once every few months. There should definitely be a limit. But I personally have grown to dislike my character's appearance and I just want to be able to change him. I would like a Race change. But if not that, then why not just an appearance change? Hair, Face, Eyes, Colors. I don't think that will bother any element of the game. But it will definitely improve it for me personally.

Would be awesome in real life
-
Let the madness commence (laughs evily) >:)
-
I think we should. I don't have time to make a new guy and level up all my faction stuff again
-
Then the idea of multiple characters would be obsolete.
-
......
-
That would make sex very awkward.
-
-
No. That seems weird of you to ask... What would possess you to ask such a question, if I may ask?
-
All you nay-sayers do realize halo reach did this right? I loved randomly becoming a purple girl spartan and fighting just for the heck of it.
-
Come on, someone had to do it.
-
I'd be okay with being able to change your hairstyle or facial hair at certain places. Roleplayers like myself prefer this option because we can then pretend that time has passed for our ageless character. Changing genders or race at any time is just ridiculous.
-
I'm a regular man in the day but at night I'm... Mr. Awoken!!
-
I infer alot of personality on to each on my characters making thinking about changing them impossible. Although I enjoy changing their aesthetics once in a while. It makes them feel more real.
-
This isn't Fable 2.
-
O_o...nuff said.
-
I like the idea of core features being set in stone. But hair styles and colors should be able to change.
-
Walk in as a human male warlock, came out a Awoken female. Problems.
-
It would definitely trivialize gender and race.
-
Where's the character investment in that?
-
oh god it'll be like the start of skyrim all over again! :L
-
You mean like Boy George?

There's a reason we can have multiple characters.
