But that would imply I wouldn't know the difference. Of course I don't get hurt by those saying I'm unattractive. I know the difference, my whole life experiences have told me otherwise. Should I assure myself with the fact I was told by multiple guys I was the "hottest girl in school" throughout high school (and that's how I felt at the time), I modeled, I was never rejected, I have a boyfriend many of girls have wanted, both girls and guys glare whenever I walk by, and the fact I'm a bartender which is a job I receive a massive amount of attention from males, or should I believe some strangers on the internet that told me I was ugly? I look in mirrors, I see pictures, I'm not an idiot. I can tell people pigs can fly all I want, but that isn't going to make it true. I know that made me sound very conceited, but I'm just trying to get the point across that I'm not as naive as people think I am and it's not the point if it hurts or not, but the fact it COULD, and they're well aware of that. I'm content with the way I look. If strangers aren't, that's fine too, I'm not on a dating site here.

  • When I say 'you', I mean your kind. females. Not you specifically. Whether you are hot or not, you shouldn't take Bungie.net sources as serious raters of your attractiveness. You, felicia, said you know that they are bullshitting you. You know their input means nothing. The rest of B.net females must learn this.

  • Thank you! People are assuming I made this thread for myself, when in fact it isn't me I'm worried about, but others. I know the difference, but not everyone else do. Perhaps my extreme amount of empathy for others is just coming out, but I hate knowing such comments could make another upset. It's why no matter how much people insult me, I'd never resort to insulting them back. I could, but I wouldn't want to actually risk hurting them. Perhaps they're insulting me because of their own insecurities and why would I wish to make that worse? We've all went through nasty phases, I'm not going to hold that agasint anyone. We all grow up and mature.

Then say that. If you want to make people feel better direct it towards the people that need to feel better. Just say the people who are posting these mean things are a bunch of attention seeking asswipes and want get a rise out of other's. Complaining about them doesn't do much good.

  • Like I already replied to you; It doesn't hurt to bring it to attention either way.
