Sadly, its all to true. Many people in society today would commit murder if they 100% knew they could get away with it.

Oh definitely. Hell the mentality of people who kill someone else is "I won't get caught if I do/say this". It's kinda sad for humanity that the concept of deterrence is what is keeping alot of people alive and well.
